MARRIED in a civil ceremony at the Hotel De Ville, Grenoble, France was Carlos Eduardo Soares Rocha, eldest son of Jose Muniz Rocha and Maria do Livramento Soares of Sao Luis, Brazil and Jessica Joye Scriven, eldest daughter of Raymond and Nicola Scriven of Bishampton.

The bride wore an aquamarine, halterneck dress and carried a bouquet of pink lilies and cream roses. They were attended by Gergana Stankusheva, Marjorie Brito de Vargas and Leandro and Barbara Estrozi, all friends of the bride and groom.

The a brazilian style reception was held at La Chaufferie in Grenoble and was attended by family and friends of seven nationalities. The couple will honeymoon in spain.
