EVESHAM residents are being asked to help locate a woman who was reported missing on Monday (10).

Julie Cairns, aged 32, lives in Bromsgrove but was a regular visitor to Evesham where she was known to go for regular walks. She was reported missing on Monday evening by relatives.

“Julie has never been reported missing before, and this disappearance is out of character for her."

She is believed to have taken no belongings with her apart from her car, a red Hyundai Getz, registration number VK55 ENH.

Mrs Cairns is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and straight shoulder length brown hair with a fringe. She usually wears jeans and a sweatshirt.

PC Cathy Fludgate of Bromsgrove Police said: “Julie has never been reported missing before, and this disappearance is out of character for her.

“There is a possibility she may be in Malvern or Evesham, which are both places she likes to go for walks, or in Sidmouth, Devon, where she has been on holiday.

“Her family are extremely concerned for her safety, and we are appealing to Julie, if she reads or hears this appeal, to let either her family or the police know she is all right. She is asked to either make contact with her family or ring the police on 0300 333 3000.

“Anyone else who has seen Julie since Monday or knows where she might be is asked to contact the police on the above number.”
