Wyre Piddle WI WYRE Piddle WI were so happy to have members from Wickhamford WI at the meeting this month They were warmly welcomed by president Sylvia Fletcher who then dealt with the business matters before introducing the speaker Viviienne Ford. As well as her flower arranging, which is always beautiful, she gave a most interesting talk on the History of Floristry, from its beginning in mediaeval times and its changing styles through the centuries to the present day.

Refreshments were then served by Merriel, Pauline and Shelagh when everyone all had a good chat and got to know one another.

The raffle was drawn and the competition for this month was judged. This was our favourite candle and was won by Beryl Edgson.

As the meeting closed everyone all agreed that they had had a most enjoyable evening, made a lot of new friends and look forward to another evening together in the near future.

Next month is the Christmas Party and in January the annual meal.
