TWO people had a lucky escape when their car left the road and ended up between a ditch and a tree on Friday.
West Midlands ambulance service was called to Croome Court near Pershore about 11.40pm when it was reported that up to four vehicles were involved.
Ambulance spokesman Murray McGregor said: “Initial reports suggested that up to four vehicles were involved but in the end if was just the one car that was damaged.
“When we arrived we found the vehicle on its side between the ditch and the tree near to a sharp bend. The occupants, a man and a woman who were both 18 and believed to be from the Worcester area, were already out of the vehicle. It is believed they were with the other three vehicles at the time of the crash.
“Considering the damage to the vehicle and where it ended up, they were extremely fortunate to have suffered no obvious injuries.
“Given the nature of the crash, the crews took both of them to Worcester Royal Hospital as a precaution for further assessment.”
